Launch of the JMF Centre for Primary Immunodeficiencies Melbourne
The JMF Centre for Immunodeficiencies in Melbourne has been established in 2018. To mark this occasion, we officially launched the Centre on June 14, 2018 in the form of an opening symposium with dedication ceremony.
The launch of the centre involved presentations by several key researchers and clinicians involved in the field of Primary Immunodeficiencies. This was followed by a patient and family orientated session co-hosted with IDFA, which provided information about PIDs, diagnosis and treatment. Some patients also shared their experiences with PID and the challenges they’ve faced.
